Living under a rock
WTF, they made a movie about the legend of Tristan and Isolde?! I was unaware of this. My favorite book of all time is The Enchanted Cup, a book based on the legend and written in the 1950's, I think. If it's any good I may just have to see it. Maybe I'll drag Katie to it if she comes down from Boone this weekend.
Speaking of books I read in Middle School, I should probably start reading the Dragonriders of Pern again...
Update:
-I had an emergency root canal done yesterday afternoon. It wasn't pleasant, but was probably less painful than most make you think it is.
-I have tons of work to do this week including a Geography of Global Economics test, reading for next week's Bio test, a case study assignment for my State and Local Government class, and maybe Katie coming down from Boone for the weekend.
-My senior thesis is on modern piracy in the southern Pacific Ocean.
-If accepted, I'll be going to Oita in Kyushu, Japan for two Japanese semesters, meaning I'll be gone from October 06 - July 07. I may or may not be coming back for my two month break in Feb-March 07, the family is kinda tight on cash.
-I'll come back to UNCC for my Fall 07 term to graduate and finish my Political Science major since my INTL major is done this semester. After that it's either Washington, D.C. or back to Japan. I may do JET, because I'll be doing English teaching through Oita University and JET is essentially the same thing. (Yay for previous experience to put on my application.)
