A Token of Friendship - The Martial Artist (2010)

"If you want to, I can teach you some moves," Jey proposed me.

Those were the words Jey said some time ago, before he began to train his best friend... And each time the fox trains without his disciple, to whom he was forced to say goodbye, those memories help him to keep going..., while he awaits for their reunion.

* * *
Jey, my fursona, is ten years old...

But "ten years old" as a literary character =P.

(He is originally a 30-years-old-anthropomorphic-red-fox, to be precise ;-3.)

Conceived at early December of the year 2000, this character was sort of an "Ideal Self" for the 21-years-old-kid that I was those days, in a similar fashion like Max Demian, a character conceived by the writer Hermann Hesse, or Donald Shimoda, a character conceived by the writer Richard Bach...

How much that kid has learnt from Jey?... A lot... But not as much as that kid really would liked to learn, to be honest...

However, I met the best friends that I've ever had in this life thanks to Jey... The first one was ZorroRe, a very good friend to whom -despite we haven't talked with each other since some time ago- I still remember fondly...

Also, more recently, ryuumajin, primaeros and gingertom are other guys to whom I grew very fond thanks to Jey, and I'm cultivating a very good friendship with karmadi11o, heartlesshealer and cabcat as well...

(Okay, everything has been kept online this far... But I really hope that, God willing, all those friendships become a real-life-fact anytime soon X3.)

But there's also another good friend whom I don't want to forget here right now... Vye D. Aru, a great kid and a pretty talented artist who made the requested piece that I'm sharing today with all of you, folks...

Vye..., again..., again and once again... Thank you so much for this spectacular piece!... I totally see who Jey really is in this scene... Thanks a lot, kid *^_^*.

Well, like I mentioned some posts ago, I still have a lot more of things to say, especially to my friends, both about myself as an everyday guy and about Jey as a "literary character"... However, I'm sure The Martial Artist could give you the best hints not only about the "Ideal Self" that Jey is as a character, but also the "Ideal Self" that I'm trying to become as a man...

(...hopefully...)

After all, I have very good reasons to become a better man... And a good bunch of those reasons are listed above, he, he ;-P.

Oh, before I leave... This is the song Jey always listens when he's doing martial arts...

(Saltwater has always matched with the nature of Jey's heartbeats... since day one.)

God bless you, folks! And keep your talent alive!! =^_^=
