i really, really love peter capaldi - he's just so magical. it doesn't hurt that he's a sexy mofo, and has been bone-worthy since forever!
my obsessions aren't taken lightly, as those who have followed my blog will know, but this is the age of the internet, so obsessive career stalking is made so much easier. thanks to the gods at google, all i need to do is type his name and "poof!" more information, video, audio, and pictures than i could have imagined will appear on my screen.
so, in the past month, i've watched an array of british tv and film purely because peter has a feature, lead, or was mentioned somewhere. today's adventure has taken me to capaldi interviewing john byrne.
byrne is an amazing artist, and script writer, and both attended the glasgow school of art, and both have had amazingly successful careers. it's wonderful to watch, as byrne is just fabulous to listen to. peter is clearly in awe of this man, and whilst he starts off nervously, he warms up wonderfully, and entices fantastic stories out of his guest.
the best part of this interview are the images that byrne paints of glasgow during the 50s and 60s.
