After seeing Tucker & Dale vs Evil, I suddenly understand. I mean, we've all heard that bit about history and the writing of at some point in our lives, right? Whether it be from a textbook or a movie or whatever. How often is the hillbilly character portrayed as being in any way victorious at the end of such films wherein young, nubile college girls (and their jock boyfriends) go camping in the middle of nowhere for no real reason other than they are clearly stupid and/or insane? Communication is key, people. When some crazed looking hillbilly comes towards you with a hatchet or axe or other potentially murderous tool, try talking to them before you run shrieking into the woods around you or make a beeline for that rickety looking cabin in the clearing. I'm sure it's probably just some kind of misunderstanding. Really. :D
