(no subject)
In an AU somewhere, Steve totally has one of these. Probably Steve the Science Guy. Or maybe Office Guy Steve who totally hates having to wear a tie and it's painfully obvious that he does. He spends half his morning plotting various ways to get rid of said tie. (Oh no! he has spilled coffee on his tie and will just have to take it off because the stain is so unsightly, *WOE* or something along those lines.) And then there's that one guy with the hair a few cubicles down is forever laughing at him and his scheming because it's not like the tie is his sworn enemy or something.
It is, though. It so totally is. Steve suspects it of plotting against him at night. In his closet. It's probably in league with the suit he has to wear to official functions.
Although, honestly? I can see Steve having one because you just never know, okay? Paperwork can be dangerous, and not just due to paper cuts and whatnot!
