(no subject)
I am having ~issues.
Mostly in that last night I had a fantastically weird dream that was like this unholy cross between Romancing the Stone and...okay, I don't even know, really. Just that I want to read the thing where Danny is a romance novelist author and then somehow or other meets Steve the (kind of scruffy) helicopter tour dude. (Seriously, every time I think that I am like, LOL, Magnum P.I. and TC and then I laugh until I can't breathe, which can't be all that good for me, but whatever).
But then! Then I am like, you know how Steve is forever "borrowing" those helicopters from the tour people to fight crime? I would love for Danny the police officer to be all, "Hey, you! I need to comandeer this helicopter!"
And Steve the helicopter tour dude is just, "...Seriously? Are cops even allowed to do that? I thought that was a movie thing." while Danny is just, "...I. What? That guy is a wanted *mumblemumblemumble because I have no plot here, just crazy rambling* and he is going to get away! What is your problem?" but Steve is just, "Do you know how much trouble I would get into?" because there are all these legal issues and helicopters don't just grow on trees, okay? Steve is a helicopter tour dude, he isn't made of money! Meanwhile Danny is just, "Jesus, just. Go! Fly! HPD will pick up the tab if we crash and die and also? I sincerely doubt your biggest concern will be how much a new helicopter will cost if that happens! >:(((((((((((" and then there is a Helicopter chase? IDK.
They are forced to land in the ~wilds of Hawaii because the bad guy shot the fuel tank and they need to make it back to civilization and bond through snarkery. There are probably shenanigans or something like that and how did I watch so much television in my childhood and not end up even more crazycakes than I already am?
...Basically, there are like five different version of this thing in my head and they are all pretty fantastic and distracting, so I'm going to play video games and stab things with a sword a lot instead. (It's my coping mechanism, don't judge.)
