Ahaha. So. The car chase scene from "Ko'olauloa" gave me a horrible, horrible idea.

Dukes of Hazzard AU?

Danno, the most unhappy of them all because he is trapped in a car with Steve McGarrett while they do stupid, insane things like jump over rivers/chasms/run roadblocks/oh God he's going to die and it's all Steve's fault! >:(((((((((((

Also/or!

Steve, Chin, and Kono are outlaws, doing their best to help the citizens of Nottingham Hawaii while the king governor is away and poor Danno is given the task of bringing them in since everyone else somehow spectacularly fails to do so.

Danno is like, >:(((((((((((( because everyone ~loves Steve and his merry band of lunatics, okay, and he can't get anyone to talk to him about them and the only reason he gets assigned to the pitiful excuse for a task force is because he's a new transfer from the mainland. Oh, and this so-called "task force" is him and some rookie everyone calls Toast who is more computer geek than cop and Danno's not really sure he is a cop? But that's not his biggest concern. No. His biggest concern is how the hell he always ends up being trapped in a car with Steve McGarrett while they do stupid, insane things like jump over rivers/chasms/run roadblocks/oh God he's going to die and it's all Steve's fault! >:(((((((((((

(Meanwhile, Steve is equal parts :DDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDD because he gets to drive really, really fast and do totally awesome things with fast cars, and ♥_______________♥ because, hey, Detective Danno is really kind of hot and awesome and wearing far too many clothes. LOL, tie.)

Also, Catherine as Maid Marian, whom Danno has conversations with/bitches to concerning Steve and his serious case of complete insanity.

...I have no actual plot/details beyond Danno hating the world in general and Steve McGarrett's stupid face in particular? Just the Dukes of Hazzard theme song.
