Something that's super delicious and super simple to cook: Acorn squash with butter and brown sugar.

If, like me, you do not have a working oven, you can also make this using a microwave. When the squash is cooked through, add the butter and brown sugar and cook another minute or so until the butter is melted. Fun! Easy! Delicious! (If you don't have acorn squash, butternut squash also works.)

Also! I'm a little sad that I've been getting spam e-mails telling me CSIs are needed in my area. If only I'd known I would have tried to get a job doing that, you know? I mean, seriously, how awesome would that be? CSI: Portland Metro! (I'd love for it to be CSI: Vancouver, but too many people would be confused and think it was Vancouver B.C., so Portland Metro it is!)

Fancy camera work showing bicyclists zooming past gridlocked traffic in their little rain ponchos during the opening credit sequence! The camera panning past the Rose Garden and whatnot! Special episodes when it doesn't rain! (I kid. We actually see the sun here more often than most people would think!) The pilot episode deals with a case in which someone was murdered at Fort Vancouver! They find a blood spattered beaver pelt at the crime scene and very little else in the way of evidence! Other things I'm too lazy to think of right now!

Ahaha, I bet everything would be cool and stylish and maybe once or twice a year I'd get to travel to Las Vega, Miami, or New York to work with my fellow CSI...uh...people. Or! Maybe I could go to other cities as featured in shows that have done crossover episodes with my fellow CSI...people. (IDK, I don't realy keep up with the CSI shows anymore, I'm not sure what all the crossover shows have been. *hands*)

don't judge me!, wtf?, cookery
