Computer situation still not fixed, internet addiction overcomes eyestrain and possible insanity in days to come. \o/
Also, so very wrong? And yet I cannot stop laughing. My heart, I have none.

During the band's hiatus Gerard finally gets his hamsters.
The thing is, one's more fur than hamster, another one is big and blond-ish and sort of looks all gruff. There's a tiny little one, maybe the runt of the litter or something. The tiny little hamster is always trying to climb on the blond-ish hamster to play with, and when he's not doing that he's amazingly destructive. (Gerard has no idea how he managed to break the hamster wheel because that thing was guaranteed indestructible, okay, but he did.)
The big blond-ish hamster ends up trying to hide from Tiny Manic Hamster on this little platform that's supposed to lead to the second level of the Hamster Dream Palace that Gerard never really got around to building because the hamsters are fine. And also, he's busy making videos to upload to his YouTube that only the band and other Important People have links to. (Some against their will.) There are also these two little dark-furred hamsters that are weirdly co-dependent, and they kind of sort of look alike? But only if you catch them at the right angle.
But something's missing! So he goes back to the pet store and sees this tiny little hamster that sort of, look, Gerard knows it's ridiculous? But it looks like the tiny little guy is bossing the other hamsters around, so Gerard is all, "That's amazing/adorable/!!!" and gets that hamster, and maybe the big one that was helping the little guy out.
And then he gets home and finally sets up the rest of the Hamster Dream Palace - complete with little towers and turrets and maybe, yes, flags with crests and stuff, shut up, Frank.
Gerard has no idea that he has managed to recreate his entire band+ in hamster form. He's just. He's totally taking advantage of their time off to do some things he couldn't really do before when they were touring. That's all. Seriously.
Everyone is just "..." whenever he shows them videos or pictures or calls them up to tell them what the hamsters are up to now, because they're not blind, but it's starting to get a little worrying, okay. Just a little.
Gerard's all, "I love my hamsters! Aren't they adorable!" (No one really has the heart to call him on his new status as Crazy Hamster Guy, except for Frank, but Frank's fond of that one dark-furred hamster. The one that has crazy fur all the time and sort of wobbles all over the place when you wake him up to play with in the morning? Yeah, that one.)
Every so often Gerard sees The Perfect Hamster at the pet store, and brings them home and his little hamster empire continues to grow.
(Like this one time? There was this one with dark markings around her eyes and she's kind of cool. And also, that skinny dark-furred hamster has been looking sad, so maybe he needs a new playmate?)
...and then shenanigans! :D
