(no subject)
Last night the power went out in my neighborhood. Do you want to know what I did after thinking the end of world had come at last? I found my lighter and used it! And then! And then I lit a candle! (No, I know, this is riveting, right?) And then. Oh, and then there were magic funtimes wherein I scavenged batteries for the tiny Sea-Monkey aquarium flashlight I have because we are too lame to believe in giving ourselves a chance at actually surviving the Zombie Apocalypse, and don't actually have any other flashlights. (Maglites, by the way, are good for being able to light up possible zombie infested hallways as well as clubbing zombies/that super annoying dude you only wish would get eaten by zombies.)
And, okay, after all that I pondered various fic-like scenarios in which various bandom people are wherever when the power goes out:
They're trapped in an elevator with the guy who is so totally pushing all their buttons, and they think they just might pop him in the mouth, but then he does something and they don't. And then suddenly there is kissing!
Or!
They're...somewhere when the power goes out and they get a call from someone else who tells both of them to stay the hell put, seriously, things will be sorted out in a few minutes. Don't set anyone anything on fire with your damn lighters. Please. And then suddenly there is kissing!
Obviously, I have been trained well in the ways of the romantic comedy, but I'm sure there are clichés involving power outtages and your favorite characters (for those who are not into bandom because I want to hear your thoughts on power outtage cliché-fic too!) and/or bandom people that I have not mentioned. Tell me all about them if you so choose! (I would not mind one little bit if you chose to do so in story form! :D)
