I don't know, although it's entirely possible! I would love for it all to end in porninations instead of tears or punchings, but I cannot write the pornination myself!

Petes's all emo about it because "They had sentimental value, you insensitive bastards!" (Everyone else has been laughing at him, because dude, Pete like, owns a store that sells hoodies and stuff, right? And he could so totally buy one just like the one he lost. And, really, he needed new pajama pants anyway. Those were just one trip through the washing machine away from turning into rags.)

Patrick kind of sympathizes because he had a favorite hat once, too, before Hemmy got hold of it and chewed the hell out of it. It's not like Patrick got mad or blamed Hemmy or anything. Just. he was kind of bummed for a while, you know? It was just some stupid little hat from a gas station when they were still touring in the van. And it was like a joke hat that Pete bought him, but. It was for Patrick's birthday and it wasn't like they were rich then or anything, and it was the hat or Starbucks. That's kind of a big thing when you're on the road and living off crappy convenience store coffee. Starbucks is a luxury, okay, and Pete gave up Starbucks for Patrick's hat. That's. That's totally not love. Like, not gay love, just. You know. Pete love. (Patrick kind of forgets that sometimes they're the same thing.)

(Pete doesn't say anything about it to anyone - because the bastards are still laughing - but Patrick totally bought him that hoodie way back when he was just getting Clandestine off the ground, all "God, fine, I'll order something from your stupid store just so you can say people like your crappy taste in clothes."

Pete was totally joking about no one buying stuff from the store, but then Patrick went and bought one in Pete's size and had it sent to Pete's place and everything and Pete was confused because dude, he hadn't ordered anything. (It's his store so he just picked out what he wanted when the shipments showed up and marked it off. Something like that.)

Patrick showed up sometime after it got there and made a face when he noticed the box and the hoodie on Pete's table. "Wow. I know it's even more hideous in real life, but it's going to look bad if you don't wear your own crap, Pete."

And Pete. Pete just looked at him until Patrick started messing with his hat, which is Patrick-speak for being totally embarrassed and probably half a minute away from profanities and possible punching, so Pete grabbed him up in a hug and gave him a slobbery kiss on the cheek before stripping out of the hoodie he was wearing at the time into the totally ugly one from his store that Patrick bought him.)

The pajama pants are just incredibly comfy and perfect for Patrick cuddles when he can't sleep and they watch movies or tv all night, even though Patrick's cranky as hell when he doesn't get enough sleep.

That is possibly one of the sweetest things I have ever read. PEEETEEEE!!!! So cute.

Did you know that they sell replacement zipper parts at craft stores and Walmart? You could probably fix your hoodie that way.

The best part is that I can totally see something like that happening with those two! ♥

I did not, actually. I'll have to bribe my mom (she's the sewer and clothes-fixer in the family) into seeing if she can fix it for me. Thank you!
