(no subject)
Hahaha. Marching band au has reached almost 6,000 words, and we have achieved Frank. And mentioned Gerard. And. Um. Ray has made soup. (I also may have come up with an actual title for it!)
It's been slow going the last week or so as I've been sick and sleeping a lot, and I really only have two days to write without being interrupted by petty things like sleep and eating.
So.

The good thing is that I know where I'm going with this fic and have actual scenes sketched out with rough bits of dialogue and whatnot that I need to flesh out. I also realized that I need to add a few more scenes in to round it out, but overall I'm feeling very positive about this fic. I've got a few ideas for outtakes and companion fics for scenes I really, desperately want to write but wouldn't actually fit into the story due to shifting POVs and everything. (There is a Frank and Bob scene in particular in which Frank is all sadface and Bob...well. Okay, Bob doesn't do sadface, all right? but he's not a happy camper either.)
Also, is it just me, or is it weird to be in the process of writing bandslash and realize partway through that your music player pulled up a playlist of songs by that very same band? I didn't actually notice it at first, but then when I started singing along it got very weird very fast.
