Ahahaha. I love this picture an unreasonable amount. Seriously.
It makes me want to know where the "The FOB guys are ghost hunters" fics are because that would be made of so much awesome I cannot even begin to explain it.
They must have all these madcap adventures filled with wacky hijinks. And an occasional plot pulled straight from Scooby Doo.
Like that one time Pete watched a Supernatural marathon and was all salt and burn happy when they got called to check out this sweet little old lady's house and almost torched her stuffed dog.
And Pete's miffed that they keep bringing that up every single time he whines about them not letting him handle matches, lighters, or anything capable of creating fire - "Jesus Christ, you guys are still mad at me for that? That thing was creepy!" - and they all agree, but Patrick's the one that goes "Pete, it was the woman's landlord trying to run her out of her house so he could tear it down and build condos, not a stupid ghost dog. Five minutes on the internet could have told you that. The guy blogged about it."
Andy and Joe are the respectable ones who handle the clients in an office setting and deal with the business side of things. They also work on gadgets and any research that needs to be done. (Joe mostly sits around playing Xbox and talking at Andy, but he made this totally awesome EMF thingy like the one the Winchester brothers have because Pete totally loves that show, and Joe's a pushover like that.)
Patrick used to do research and gadget things too, but after Andy figured out that he actually kept Pete from doing crazy things (like torching stuffed pets and whatnot) he started sending him into the field with Pete. Now they're sort of inseparable even though Patrick likes his me-time and Pete has no concept of things like that.
Pete decided he wanted to be a ghost hunter after watching Ghostbusters one too many times as a kid, and then watching every one of those freaky shows and specials on tv with the words "ghost", "unexplained", and "hauntings" in them. (Also, it gets him the chicks that are into weird stuff like that, so, you know, extra bonus!)
The Panic! boys are college kids who are also junior ghost hunters, or, really, Brendon's all "Whee!" about it and got the rest of them to tag along for the ride. But he's surprisingly good with the gadgets and other techie stuff, so Andy made him his assistant.
They get Ryan to handle the advertising and receptionist duties so everyone thinks they're some kind of homeless riverboat gambler/carny/theater group and they get really strange calls all the time. Jon handles the coffee and...no one else is really sure what else he does, but it seems to involve reading the sports page and challenging Joe to Halo deathmatches a lot. Spencer's there because he's doing a project for his psych class and is all "This is so much better than going to an actual asylum, thank you so much for this Brendon."
I mean. Yes? Please tell me such fic exists somewhere. Please.
