(no subject)
So a long time ago I read Down a Dark Hall by Lois Duncan, and it was my most favorite book ever for a long, long time. (I may have been pre-teen at the time.) And I was thinking, as I sometimes do, about just how awesome a bandom AU that would make?
I mean, seriously.
Patrick could be the main character - Kit? - who has, if I remember right, the musical talent? (Only, you know, less teenage girl.)
And Pete, man, this is genius. Pete could be Jules, the son of the principal. (Which, sadly, would make Pete's mom Evil, but it's for the sake of pornfiction! She totally won't mind taking one for the team!)
William could be Patrick's best friend since forever or something that didn't make it into the creepy school of possesion-atings. (I think I read somewhere that they were friends/knew each other before they joined their respective bands or something? I don't know.)
Joe and Andy could be like, two of the other kids, and then...I don't know. Someone else as that other one? (Yeah, see this is where my mental plotting out the AU totally fails me since I don't remember all the details from the book, as last I read it years and years nd years ago.)
But!
But the Panic! At the Disco guys could be some of the former students who went crazy from being posessed! (YES. You know that would be awesome. Totally.)
And Patrick could be all cute and earnest and falling in love with Pete! And then stuff that I can't remember happens and there is a happy ending for all! (Who are not evil, I mean.) And burning schools and shit. AWESOME.

P.S. I will not be writing this as, previously stated, I cannot remember exactly what happens in the book. But seriously, I would love for this fic to be written. :D
P.P.S. - I think there was an art kid too? Someone who did paintings? Because I would totally not be against Gerard being that kid, or even an AU with the MCR guys instead. I'm easy that way.
