After (carefully) reading the section in the guidebook, I'm finally starting to understand how the Quickening/Concurrences system thingy works.
Sort of.
I mean, I'm more focused on keeping the Quickening chain going in order to better help me destroy my enemies before they slaughter me mercilessly than I am on triggering specific Concurrences, but whatever. It's all good as long as it works.
I'm still at the point where running into elementals totally scares the crap out of me as they tend to crush my party with ease, and that makes me sad. (It doesn't stop me from stealing from them and running, though. :D)
