There is an artichoke the size of a human head in my refrigerator.

Seriously. (Well, okay, so it's only the size of a human child's head, but still. Human. Head.)

This thing is huge. And while I understand that man will forever be tinkering with our food supply (my god, they've crossed plums and peaches, where will the madness end?) I'm somewhat disturbed by this turn of events. I mean...don't get me wrong, I love artichokes too. I do. I just had no idea there was a market out there for ones as big as this.

But, no. I babble because I'm tired and cannot yet sleep.

Also? I have given in and bought a copy of the season one DVD set of Numb3rs off Amazon for way, way less than retail. (I feel no guilt, because there is Fleischman with a gun, and David Krumholtz. There can be no wrong there.) And? Season two comes out on DVD in October. :D

I love that show beyond reason even though I never actually watch it regularly because there i loving family interaction. How often do you see that on television nowadays without there being some major, major problems going on to upset the balance between family members? I just...I think the show won me over with that alone. But then there is Larry.

And okay, so I can't watch Peter MacNicol in anything and not remember him as the freaky little guy in Ghostbusters II, or the guy from Dragonslayer, but I love Larry so, so much. SO. MUCH.

He's geeky and cute and adorable and such a great pillar of support for Charlie. (Plus, Peter MacNicol is a great actor and completely believable in his role.)

I think I may need caffeine to make it through the rest of this week. An IV or something, as nothing else seems to be helping that much.
