(no subject)
I just watched the first two episodes of the Black Cat anime (shut up, I know I'm late watching the damn thing) and now I am the confused. It's been a while since I've read the manga, but...um?
Saya's actually alive in the anime (I think? Unless she's some weird delusion, but Sven saw her, so...omg, my brain is too fried to try to figure it out right now), which...she wasn't in the manga. And Train. Oh, god, Train. Looks. So. Young.
Do they ever actually say how young he's supposed to be in the anime? I know they de-aged him a bit for the anime. He looks - maybe - sixteen or so on the outside. And Sven. More dorky in the anime, and yet strangely cute.
Eve's head is freakisly huge. Freakishly.
Okay, so I have...quibbles with the animation for the most part, because Creed looks uniquely freakish as well.
And yet, I know I will continue to watch the anime because there is pretty every so often, and also because I must know what the hell Saya's doing not being dead yet. (Yes, I am going to the special hell for that.)
And also, because I'm weirdly fascinated with this version of Black Cat. I just...I heart the manga more, but the anime is like a beautiful little AU (in that Saya's alive I think?, and no, I don't think I'll stop harping on about that anytime soon) and Eve's head is freakishly huge. And...maybe other things too.
