I just spent half an hour planning a trip with the help of Google and Expedia.com for research purposes in a fic I'm writing, and it didn't seem in any way strange to me until now. (I also now know exactly how many airports there are in a two hundred mile radius of a certain city that are certified for carrier operations.)
Only passing references to all of this will make it into the fic, and this is the one I'm writing because the other wips I'm working on have me completely stonewalled and are stressing me out. (They're due in little over a week and I'm only halfway done.) I just...yeah.
