Pt three shorter then the rest

well here is part three, much shorter then the others cause I'm not feeling too well, my dinner is not agreeing with me.

By the time we arrived at the remains of the village, the majority of the fires had died out completely, but the acrid smoke and stench of burned flesh hung heavy in the still, silent air. There were no cries of the trapped or injured, and I could hear nothing of movment like people wandering around seeking out others. The song of the village had died, nothing of it remained in the ground or the air surrounding me, just a horrible opressive silence.
Mela and Lentria fell at the western gates weeping again, unable to bear the sight of such tragady and slaughter. Still I refused to allow myself to cry, by the thirteen levels of Hell I did not even feel any sorrow at what had happened, only an all consuming rage that filled me, burning like the fires that had distroyed my home. I stalked the streets, moving between houses and looked upon the chared remains and butchered bodies of the only people I had ever known, and the skeletal remnets of houses that had been so utterly part of the natural beauty of Verina. Everywhere I looked I saw death's unmistakable hand, and the sight of all the carnage and distruction only served to feed my rage, allowing it to grow to unnatural heights. When I found out who or what had caused all of this, I was going to make them pay double for each and every cut, and fire they had caused here this day.
Eventually I found myself before the Hawthorns which formed Lentria's house. I was shocked to find it pristine, there was no sign of damage, not even the smallest speck of soot, unlike every thing else around it. In a daze I climbed the three shallow steps to the door and with a gentle push opened it. I held my breath praying that the illusion created by my shock would not fade, and show me how much I had lost. But still the house remained unchanged, and I could feel a shread of hope deep in my heart that maybe, just maybe this was no illusion brought forth from my shock and horror.
“Who's there?!” Demanded a booming voice I knew and loved and I turned, Terin was standing in the hall glaring at me.
“T-Terin?? Is- is it really you? You- you are alive . . .” I stammered, the tears I had been holding back finally spilling from my eyes, “It- it cannot be.”
“K-Kurai?” He asked softly taking one cautious step towards me, “But how?”
“Alve insulted me too much for me to take today . . . I ran out into the forrest and hid in an ancient oak's boughs. Mela and Lentria found me there just as I heard the first screams and saw the smoke . . . I made them come up with me to hide until it was over. We came back but they stopped at the West gates to weep. What happened here?”
“Mela and Lentria are still out there?! We have to get them before the mortals come back.” He cried as he pulled my arm dragging me back to where they were still crying.

Enjoy ^_^ let me know what you all think?
