New anime: Yakushiji Ryouko no Kaiki Jikenbo
Clearly my most anticipated summer anime thise year:
I will post a complete list of what I'm watching later, but this one has my top priority. If you've been around here since +/- January you'll have noticed that I mentionned this series a few times when it was featured in Newtype etc in the news tickers. And now it finally aired, so speed review:

Yakushiji Ryouko no Kaiki Jikenbo, Ryoko's Case file or Le recueil des faits improbables de Ryoko Yakushiji is about Ryoko, an investigator of the supernatural who along with her partner Izumi solves mysterious not-so-common cases. But she's not the only one in the job, her equally skilled and beautiful rival Yukiko is never far away...
This series is based on light-novels illustrated by Narumi Kakinouchi and a manga series. Needless to say I have never attempted to read the novels and the lack of scanlations make the series quite inaccessible. I am however determined to buy the mangas if the anime lives up to expectations (and in case it doesnt: well we'll stil have the pretty character design and Ryoko's gorgeous legs).

My encounter with Ryoko was pure haphazard hitsuzen; I stumbled on the FLAWLESS Artbook:
Actually I found it at
sasmira 's and immediatey fell in love with it. It reminded me how much I liked Kakinouchi (to boot "Vampire Princess Miyu" was one of my first mangas). I got the artbook ASAP and gushed over it almost DAILY.
I was exstatic since I read in a magazine that it was going to be adapted. The lack of scanlation makes it difficult to acces but I'm willing to buy the mangas if the anime lives up to expectations.
