So after many delays and much ZETSUBOU and RAGE I got at least these:
Checklist:
-Boing-boing-san DX Heroine
-MsCosplay DX Heroine
-Throne Zwei Gunpla
-Overflag Custom Gunpla (and I don't give a damn if the box doesn't say "Graham's Custom Flag", to me this one is the real Graham Flag, the other one looked corny and apparently couldn't stand on its own but needed an extra display. Hmpf.)
MIA:
Tsuruya-san (meido version) and another DX but yeah can't have it all I guess D8
Anywhoooo~ as much as I'd like to share the pics of this wonderful event I forgot the cable of my camera at my flat. So yeah I got pics, but can't move them from my camera to my laptop. Don't ask about bluetooth, tis but an old camera
So you'll just have to believe me until I post picspam on Monday.
To make up, a nice little anecdote about the delivery:
*rewinds* I never allow my orders to be shipped home, but instead give the address of my mom's office. Why? Because in Luxemburg they are too lazy to take the things that don't fit in your postbox back and leave you a note to pick it up later. No. Here they leave it on your doorswell. Exposed to rain, snow, wind and grabby neighbourhood kids. HOW OFTEN have I not realised my things had been delivered but were simply stolen! Sometimes they get returned to me if the parents of said brats find out, but not always.
I think the postman reasons like this "Well shit no, I carried that damn thing until here, no way I'm taking it all the way back"
Oh and I won't even mention my flat in Belgium because there they think one common postbox for all the [locataires] is more than enough. Like I trust fellow students... (and I don't want them to find my pr0n either. I have a reputation here believe it or not).
*present time*
Therefore, HLJ parcel arrived at my mom's office (at least there is always someone there to pick them up and they know it's for me and keep it for me -I'm not a total stranger, I used to /do slave labour work there during vacations)
Somewhen during a lecture I get an SMS from my mom: "Big box arrived.hlj.has weird blow+sticker says 'content may be damaged'."
O________O I get flashbacks from Moy's bizarre figure haul and imediately text back "forget the "never open my boxes" policy and CHECK IT. EVERYTHING! NOW. PLEASE!!"
What seemed to be hours later: "all ok.individual boxes safe.stop texting and study"
Pheeeeewwwww.
BUT the story goes on.
Apparently she tried to put everything back into the box but was called for a meeting and left everything on her desk.
When she came back... someone had displayed Boing-boing-san in the middle of her desk (thankfully still in her little box) and being an open-space office EVERYONE coming in could ogle at it.
Male co-worker#1: I always thought your offspring was a girl?
Male co-worker#2: I shouldn't have dropped cartoons in the 80s. I knew it.
Female co-worker#3: I always thought your offspring was a girl?
Looks like I'll have to find a new job during the holidays...
But I won't stop having my orders delivered there. Too handy.
