With this purchase I really measured my love for the character/series. It's my most expensive figure so far! The previous title holders were HOTD's Rei (manga version) and TGTL's Yoko for which I paid horrendous shipping and customs charges.
I don't think I'd be ready to pay that sum of money again, even for the rare/sold out figures I'm looking for. The saddening part is that I paid for SHIPPING (because of the HUGE box), almost as much as for the figure (figure:60€, shipping 50€). This is the reason I will not buy the upcoming megahouse Suzaku, because I fear it'll come in an equally ginormous box.

The figure in itself isn't so big, it's the cape that needs extra space and takes up half of the box. The GEM Zero's cape is much more simple and smaller, explaining why I couldn't remember to have paid so much for that one.

Finally, I've been asked about this:
You can collect a little stamp that says "lelouch" on it. If you also buy mega house Suzaku you collect the "Suzaku" stamp as well, send them both to the indicated address and you might receive this illustration of the characters.
BUT I assume it's like a lottery or first come first serve, so there is no guarantee that you will actually get the illustration. I think it's like the prizes at the end of the Newtype magazine. Imho after paying 13,500Yen and more for 2 figures, Bandai could cough up enough to send it to everyone. Plus I'm not actually sure it'll work outside Japan, some people said they already won such things outside Japan, but I wouldn't bet any money on it.
But I guess if you're getting Suzaku anyway, you can always try, don't forget to tell me how it worked out!
