Do you like Venus Capriccio? Considered buying it, but a short flip through couldn't convince me. Wanna change my mind?
Is it the French edition of S&W on the picture? Quite excited how the German will be...
Didn't Kisaragi write in the afterword that he wants to finish GATE at a indefinite point of time in the future? Not sure how the plot itself saw some closure, just read the final pages. ^^"
Buy: Happy Marriage, Silver Diamond. Those I can recommend immediately. Venus vol.1 was OK, have not read 2 yet. I don't like that the girl seems oblivious to main chara's obvious love for her, and she's blushing a lot like Misa-chan from Maid sama. BUT: there seems to be plot. I'm watching this closely, perhaps vol2 will confirm it.
It's Panini Germany's S&W. Steaming bucket of FAIL, because no color pages. Cf. CIL Forum Thread for moar lulz. Sadly, no French licence for S&W announced (be it manga or anime) so I had to pick German.
I HOPE Kisaragi picks up GATE after so many years, it's not unheard of (Kaori Yuki picked up Count Cain after the many years that Angel Sanctuary lasted. Die Hoffnung stirbt zuletzt)
Haha, glad to know that SD was well worth the risk for you (and my hunch for decent manga didn't fool me XD). Try to catch it 2nd hand in the next months. Easier said than done when I look at the (non-)existing offers. Happy Marriage... read your BAWing in the CIL thread. Still undecided if a story about a young married couple with obvious ending will entertain me enough. Might wait for the sneak peak first.
Ah, they changed the title (that's why I ended up assuming it was the French edition)! Sweet. Prefer "Spice & Wolf" anyway.
The re-edition is just around 2 years old. He obvisously found a new publisher, I've already seen poorer chances for a continuation. Maybe after the completition of BxB? Fingers crossed.
I was finally convinced when Kazé gave me Vol.1 at Japan Expo for free and then I got the rest 2+1 & second hand, so it wasn't as expensive.
B-but HapiMari is SO funny o_O So are some stories in "Private Love Stories", but I can't recommend all the volumes because some are less funny than other. Being a collection of one-shots, the level varies.
That's Panini for you.
I don't like BXB that much anyway. Hurry up and finish it.
Put up a search thread on Mexx for SD (and Berserker). Two seductive offers with the first 9/10 volumes. Let's see what the next day will bring, but probably I'm getting one of these. Aside from the Basara... *cough* orz
Read the first chapter. Does the humor develop with the progress of the series, because, ehm, I didn't even laugh once. ^^" Maybe we have to blame the gender here. You were faster than I could ask. Okay, then I'll defintitely skip the other Enjoji works.
Robot #5 as an early easter present? How nice of you. :D Oh, I have to pay? Hmhmhm, give me some time to think about it. ... Decided! Grab it while it's hot.
Hm, I found the first volume very funny. But yes perhaps it's the same with rom-com, different gender different reaction (but I'm actually picky with rom-com and manga but this one? Would laugh again) Enjoji drew some funny stuff, but it's separate chapters so in this particular case I would be in favor of DLing single chapters^^;;

[edit]This is the volume with the fun stories. Released in German, but not scanned. Can't remember which volume it was, TokyoPop renamed them all.
But the postage fee would be for free! =D
...
What? Not an attractive offer? Pfffffffffffffffffff
