The Vampire Diaries 1x19 - Miss Mystic Falls [Spoilers]
I don't really fancy reviewing each and every single episode, but this one was too awesome to ignore:
- Even though I'm not a Damon/Elena shipper, this is soooo sexy: 1x19 Damon and Elena dance. THE EYEFUCKING. I'M MELTING.I have such a schoolgirl crush on Ian Somerhalder.
- I'm so happy Caroline won. Nobody who watches the show with me likes her. I find her so easy to relate to, especially since I've always been the girl who "tries so hard and nobody ever picks" She won me over in the very first episode. Because I've never been anyone's Elena despite being pretty and trying hard. / Bawww
- The death list. Spoilers say either Matt, Caroline, Bonnie, Jeremy, Jenna or Alaric die (as in: real death, no turning, no coming back in the next season.
My hypothesis: Candice talks about the turn Caroline and Matts relationsip will take in S2. Both are therefore saved. Jeremy does not exist in the books, why bother creating a character if it's to kill him off just like that? My take, Anna's gonna turn him, even if that's obvious, it's fitting. I don't like Bonnie but she's important in the books and the last witch on the show, so they keep her. Jenna's not in the books (she's very different from aunt Judith) but if she dies, Jeremy and Elena don't have a lega guardian anymore (I don't think John's gonna survive another Damon neck-snap attack) , they go in foster care, move out of Mystic Falls yadda yadda. Leaves us Alaric D: Noooooooooooo. But I can't think of any other reason to keep him, other than the pretty (and he was badass in "Let the Right one in"). I'm only halfway through "Nightfall", but I doubt he's gonna come back in the books so why keep him on the show?
