Diary Entry 4/7

Apr 07, 2006 02:14

It's a rather sweet entry. *grin*

Japanese:

06/4/07 (金)

愛について一晩中考えてみた。

愛って何だろう?

愛って何なんだろう?

なんて

考える必要のないものが

やっぱ愛なんだと思った。

僕が僕であり、

君が君であるように。

愛も愛なんだ。

おはよう。

...って朝っぱらから心気くせぇか(笑)

おぱよう☆

/み

Romaji:

06/4/07 (kin)

Ai nit suite hitobanjuu kangaete mita.

Ai-tte nani nan darou?

Nante

Kangaeru hitsuyou no naimono ga

Yappari ai nanda to omotta.

Boku ga boku de ari,

Kimi ga kimi de aru you ni.

Ai mo ai nanda.

Ohayou.

…--te asappara kara shinki kusee ka (warau)

Opayou☆

Translation:

06/4/07 (Fri.)

I thought about love all night long.

I wonder, what is love?

What might this love be?

Something like

It is not something necessary to think about,

but still, I thought, it is love.

I am me,

just as you are you.

And love is love.

Good morning.

…because it's the early morning, these feelings stink, huh? (laugh)

Good morning! ☆

/Mi

Notes:
Wow, he's being so deflective and unsure throughout that whole thing, my first instinct was almost to end each of those entries on a questioning note. The だろう's and なんて and って…, they all have these connotative meanings that give a particular feeling to an expression. Basically, the entire entry is *really* hesitant and questioning.

Also, くせぇ (kusee) is the masculine casual version of くさい (kusai).
