Honey Bunches of... Pictures!

Ok, I've got a bunch of random things going on, but there's at least one thing I need to post about before I get into all the current matters.

For the past two months (Nov./Dec.) Sam has been working ever so hard on finishing the chainmail inlay that he promised to his best friend from home Jeff and his wife Rachael as a wedding gift. He finished it on Christmas day I believe, and it just looks amazing. He wouldn't sell it for anything less than $500 bare minimum, and I don't blame him for it. It was kinda funny, he didn't want to chance checking it at the airport (I wouldn't either if it was bare minimum worth $500) so when we were at security the guards were eyieng it funny because he sent it through the checkpoing by itself as opposed to being stored in something, and they had never seen anything like it before. But anyway! On to the final products!

This is what it looks like if you just lay it out on the floor, it's 60 chains wide and there's something like over 10,000 links total in it. It's CRAZY!

And since this was made to be a wall hang, he mounted it on a dowel with leather so that it holds its form. Wee!

I'm proud of him for making that. He almost didn't want to give it away. When he's up to it, I think he's going to make one for us, but first and foremost he's going to make an FMA inlay for me :3 I'm totally excited about that and can't wait, but I'm not going to put any pressure on him for it because he has other things he needs to finish.

I've got a job interview on Friday at 2pm. I'm excited, this will decide whether I get that job I've been after for a while now. So, here's to giving it my best and hoping that they still like me. I'm supposed to have a phone meeting with the account manager and the recruiter today, but that didn't happen because of the snow storm (the account manager was late getting in to work, understandible). At least this went better than that last phone interview where the guy blew me off. So, I have high hopes, and I feel good about this. We'll see what happens.

Now, that I'm done with my priorities in pokemon, I'm trying to fill that gap with another game my options are - FF7, FF8, FF9, FFX-2, FF12, .hack//Infection, .hack//G.U.,Tales of the Abyss, Okami, Twilight Princess, Mario Galaxy, Super Paper Mario, Star Ocean, Pokemon Colloseum, Pokemon XD, Pokemon Battle Revolution, Tales of Legendia, Phantom Hourglass or FF12 Revenant Wings. I just don't know what to work on first. I started up FF9 last night, but we'll see if I make it through it this time around.

I've gotten back on track with my dinner chart. In a way it's to keep track of what we eat most here, but it's mostly to see what I've cooked lately, to see if that recipe can be used again. I know I fall into habits of cooking what I like in the moment, and then the meal is just done too much and you don't want it for a while, so hopefully this will avoid that and bring back some of the things I used to love to make. Last night was chicken parm, and I haven't made that in ages. It felt good. Not sure what tonight's going to be, but I have all day to figure that out.

Now, to get dressed, do some laundry and go to the store, but not before leaving you all with more pictures of the best kitty ever - waffles! :D

My fluffy round kitty!

Ok, in this picture he was sooooo cold that he curled up so tight that his nose was touching his butt. So funny!
