Vidding?
Learning to vid is haaard and intimidating and frustrating as hell, and I must be a crazy person for trying to vid this song, especially as a "Hey, throw things at a timeline to learn what's up" type thing, but hell. 3 hours and a tiny clip selection later, I gotta say it's a blast. (Even if WMM likes to crash. Like, a lot.) It's all so poorly edited and jumbled together and whee! (And maybe with some tight editing it'd be watchable. Maybe. Or maybe that's the lack of sleep talking?)
So, I guess the advice to just start playing with some clips and relax was good, even if it didn't seem like it when I read it.
Maybe someday I'll actually make that Classic and New Who vid I've been thinking about for over a year now. The amount of (mismatched) source footage is really daunting, and I'm sure one day I'll come to my senses and realize it's a terrible idea, but for now? ::shrug:: it calls to me.
