On a roll..

The other thing that is keeping my friends page occupied, besides the TT reunion (Which, let's face it, nobody on LJ cares about. It seems LJ is THE place for japanese fandom) is KAT-TUN or the fact that Jin Akanishi, the former A of KAT-TUN left them. This feels eerily familiar to the day when Robbie left Take That. Let's just hope that KAT-TUN  ( Read more... )

I admit that I was surprised because I thought it'd just be like the solo ventures of Yamapi or Tegmoass. They did break out but are still members of NEWS. I wonder if Jin left KAT-TUN on his own or if they forced him to due to his solo activities (though if we'll ever get the truth is another question).

I agree that much of Jin's (and Tegomass as well as recent Kinki Kids and TOKIO) solo stuff sound very streamlined and Americanized. I don't like it much. The 'Japanese' touch is missing and I don't mean the Enka-sound like Kanjani 8 but, well, I can't explain it but I'm sure you know what I mean ;)

Na, Jin's ambitions are quite different from Yamapi or even Ohno, who did some solo stuff. He left them before to "study" half a year in America (and didn't do any solo work) While Yamapi and Tegomass are still involved with everything NEWS do, KAT-TUN do their thing without Jin. Their second album and the single Bokura no Machi de in 2006 was then missing Jin and now they even went on a big Asia Tour and had another album while Jin spent his time in L.A. But the story is always like they hated each other from day 1. Who knows if that's true. Story also goes Tsuyoshi and Kouichi hate each other ( ... )

Well... if Tsuyo and Koichi hate each other, they must be the best actors in history. o.O
I think they are wonderful together and even if Tsuyo goes "oh, I don't have Koichi's new cell phone number..." (and then calls Koichi's manager to get the number _._ ), all the kissing and groping on stage... I doubt Koichi would look like that, if he'd actually hate it.

Don't kill me... kitsukitty July 17 2010, 21:57:02 UTC
...I'm just the messenger. I have no idea if it's really true and I also doubt it but I read that several times. And didn't Tomoya Nagase say something similar on Domoto Kyoudai? I don't want them to hate each other. And I don't want KAT-TUN to hate each other. But even more scary are those polls that bash Tsuyoshi as the biggest evil in the world. Those crazy Koichi-fangirl-stalkers should go to hell, because Tsuyoshi is a kind soul and doesn't deserve all that unjustified hate.

I know, I know... it still hurts me to hear stuff like this ;_;

And I don't understand where all this Tsuyo-hate is coming from, really. Sure, he sometimes seems to live in his own world, but as you said, he is a kind soul and he does CARE about the people he likes (which brings us back to "his own world", because like any other person, he doesn't care that much about the people he doesn't like _._ )
