I passed

the Japanese exam with a "befriedigend". (C? in english) Phew, that was close. I admit I almost thought I wouldn't pass. But I also don't like that I only got a C. So if I stay here (near the JKI) I'm not sure if I will attend course 5 or repeat course 4. It's getting harder and I'm not getting better if I don't keep up, it's getting worse. But I have nobody to blame but myself. While I'm pretty good at Kanji and Listening Exercise, grammar is my weak point and I didn't study any vocabulary at all. So if I just sit there and guess...well, it's my own fault then.  I'll just wait and see, the next course will start in November, I can still think about it until then. My plan is to study all the Kanji I need for the next course in advance, so I don't have to do them then, I only have the grammar and the vocabulary. I'm curious if my classmates passed. We all went for japanese food after the test was over and I'm curious if I'm going to see them again in the next one.

Tumbling is over now. Nooo...*sniff* It was a great show. If I had money I would buy the DVD box. On amazon.co.jp it is cheaper by 5000 Yen! How is that possible? Anyway, even 15.000 Yen are too much money, even though there is a lot of bonus material.  But even if I really love Tumbling I don't think it will be my favourite show ever. But is certainly in the Top 10, that's for sure. Maybe I should make a list of my favourite drama?  But I don't think I would be able to rank them. For example, I love, love, love Seigi no Mikata, which was a comedy drama in the summer of 2008. Whenever I feel bad, I watch that drama. But I also love Aishiteru - Kaiyou which is soooo different, you cannot compare it to Seigi no Mikata.

At the moment I reread Anita Blake. I only have the books until The Harlequin and I thought of buying the ones that were released after that now. But then I visited the amazon.com review page of Bullet, the latest addition to the whole thing. If you read that review page you can only shake your head. On the average that book get 2.5 stars. What the hell happened to that series and to Laurell K. Hamilton? These books were fun and cool for the first 8 to 9 books. The heroine was cool, someone to look up to. When I started to read them in the early 2000's I couldn't get enough of it. Now it's just a chore. I don't know if I should buy these books only to be disappointed. At least I'll wait for the soft cover, nothing can make me buy another hard cover of the series ever again. So if you ask yourself what happened. Somewhere around the 10th book I think, which was called Narcissus in Chains, it turned from super-natural horror-crime-novels with an erotic touch to porn with an slightly super-natural touch. I don't mind the sex. But it is in essentials not the same series anymore, Anita Blake is not Anita Blake anymore. Laurell K. Hamilton also writes another series that was more porn from the beginning. I don't know why she didn't keep that to that series. I know after reading the reviews that most people just cannot give up on this series, because they still hold a small hope that'll turn back to the series that they loved so much. And that is probably why she still sells like that. Nobody can tell me they like what the series has become. Maybe it is really time to give it up?
