Alright, alright

I read the interactive story* Homestuck for a while, before burning out on all the crazy-long chatlogs and non-standard typing and time-traveling storylines, none of which really appealed to me. Sadly, I lost interest about the same time ALL MY FRIENDS** decided they were finally going to start reading it, and suddenly every other livejournal post is about Homestuck and how it's rewiring everyone's brain. On the plus side, suddenly people are posting to livejournal again. I don't normally do the geek thing of keeping up with media just because my friends are into it, but since eptified is willing to provide plot summaries occasionally, I've been keeping mostly up to date, and will occasionally go poke the site when there's something interesting, like the fake-RPG minigames.

And now ALL MY FRIENDS are reading this thing, and they have organized an Acen cosplay group, and my Zodiac troll has magically risen from the dead with awesome powers, and the one thing I miss about anime fandom is the cosplay. You can see where this is going.

So quick check-in, for Jono/Sushu/Stephen/Brian/Isaac and anyone else planning on going to Acen and troll-cosplaying:
Are you actually going?
Are you going to actually do this cosplay?
Who are you going as?

If this is an actual thing, I will do it. The timing is kind of terrible, since I think that's the weekend my papers are due, but it would be the first chance for a JAS reunion since the wedding, and... costumes!

*yeah, yeah, everyone calls it a webcomic and it's kind of pretentious to call it something else. But I really do think that Homestuck isn't a webcomic, but something else that's new and interesting, some kind of mix of old-fashioned serialized fiction and the kind of short flashy things that I group together under "internet stuff".

**Okay, like six of my friends. I do actually have more friends than that. But you guys are pretty vocal.
