I was so excited about seeing many friends tonight that I don't get to see very often and then it all went to hell.
1. Sewer line break. Had to leave.
2. Spent several lovely hours at the main branch talking to friends and reading when I got the call from my mom.
One of their best friends in KC is in the hospital and K (his wife) is a mess. So not going to make it to the house warming party tonight but will be watching the puppies and house since their son (C) is in Iraq. I hope R is Ok since Chris and I grew up together and R is almost a second father. So off to Lewisberg.
