One.
The first time it had happened, none of them had been prepared for it. Practicing the choreography for Pikanchi Double before the filming of their PV the next day, both Nino and Jun had stayed back long after the other three returned back home, merely because Jun was a perfectionist and Nino just couldn't seem to get the timing of that stupid little twist right. They were still human after all though, and a break saw them sitting against the wall, panting as the sweat rolled off them in diamond droplets.
"Ahhhh, this is frustrating." Jun complained, running a hand through his damp hair. Nino chuckled, turning around to comment that Jun was doing just fine, he was just being a perfectionist, when he froze in his tracks.
His breath caught in his throat at the sight of the youngest with his lips open with his complaints of frustration, sweat giving his skin a sheen of light. Why did he do it? If you asked him, even now, he wouldn't be able to give you a coherent answer. All he could do was say that it felt right at that time. And Ninomiya Kazunari always liked to indulge in his whims.
So he leaned over, and he stole a kiss right from his bandmates lips.
Two.
He had been freaked of course, freaked that a fellow bandmate would kiss him out of the blue like that. But that wasn't what scared him the most, no. The one thing that shocked Matsumoto Jun to the core, was how much the pair of thin lips had felt so right on his own at that very split second. His heart hammered like crazy in his chest, and the blood rushed to his cheeks, even as logic told him to push the other away.
Of course, logic overruled instinct in the end. It always did with him. He pushed Nino away, and gave the smaller boy a shocked look before hightailing it out of there.
And then he had to go do the unthinkable.
"Ne, Nino-chan, where did you meet Erin-chan?"
"Erin-chan?" Sho looked up from his accounting text book to give Nino a sneaky, grinning look. "Whats this about a new girl, huh Nino? Not telling us something?"
"Its nothing. Just someone I met while helping my sister." Nino tried to brush it off, mumbling while hiding an embarassed grin behind his manga's.
And all the while, Jun just sat there staring at the one he was reading, the words all coming together in a blur now that Aiba's first words sank in. Nino? With a new girl? What was that supposed to mean? A pang struck his chest, the chasm in his heart that had suddenly sprung up there growing deeper and saw the deep flush on Nino's cheeks. Did he actually like the girl? Then what the heck did the kiss Nino gave him two weeks ago mean?
Finally unable to stand the teasing and chortling going around, Jun dropped his manga loudly on the table of their greenroom, and stormed out, much to the other three's shock and confusion.
"Whats up with him?"
Sho and Ohno just shrugged in confusion at Aiba's question, yet none of them seem to notice how Nino's eyes looked at the still-swinging door, a pining and forlorn look seeping in to his gaze before he finally tore it away, and forced himself to concentrate on his current game.
Outside, Jun just sat in an empty hallway for the longest time he could imagine. The craziest thoughts were running through his head. He would love to meet that new girl Nino's meeting, if only to give her a piece of his own mind. What piece of his own mind anyway? He had no right to! Not after pushing Nino away like that anyway. But at that time, pushing the other away seemed like a reflex action. Now though.... now he seemed to want nothing more then to thoroughly kiss the smaller guy once again.
"I'm just going to get my charger guys, I left it in the van. I'll be back in time, for goodness sake stop fussing Sho."
His head piqued up at the voice he recognized clearly, before the footsteps started heading in his direction. Logic had always overruled instinct for Matsumoto Jun, but there was an exception to every rule. And he just found his exception.
Just as Nino walked by, Jun found himself reaching out to yank the musician towards him, before pressing the smaller body towards the wall and then leaning in to claim that pair of thin lips for his own. He struggled, but only for a second before he realized who it was. By then, Jun had wrapped his arms around the smaller waist, and Nino arms easily found a latch-on spot around Jun's neck, as they easily devoured each other.
"Mine, Ninomiya Kazunari. Don't you dare go to anyone else, guy or girl."
"You pushed me away in the first place."
"Well, don't shock me. Its not everyday someone just comes and kisses me out of the blue."
Nino snickered, and then nibbled on Jun's bottom chin. "Lets keep it that way. Unless that 'someone' happens to be me anyway." he grinned deviously, before yanking Jun down yet again. And well, who was Matsumoto Jun to resist anyway?
Three.
Pushing the door open, Jun frowned when he was met with darkness. And he wasn't even late today. Usually if he returned home after midnight, finding everything shrouded in darkness was normal. But he had promised Nino he would come home before 12, and it was only 10.55 now. Nino wasn't one to sleep before then.
Pulling off his shoes, Jun's frowned only deepened when he realized he could hear the television set on. was that Wish he was hearing? Odd.
"Kazu?"
Peeking in to the living room, his confusion deepened. He could easily recognize his boyfriend sitting hugging his legs to his chest, eyes glued to the television set. "Are you watching Hana Yori Dango?"
"I thought I said no one was to kiss you except me." came the small voice, and Jun almost snickered at the pout that was so evident in his words. Dropping his bag on the couch, Jun crouched down to sit next to Nino, and nudged him teasingly. "Jealous?"
"No." came the instant denial, and the youngest was hard-pressed to resist the laughter that threathened to bubble up.
"Well, think of it this way. I always have to wait backstage as you and Riida perform your skits on Ohmiya SK, you don't see me complaining."
"But thats different! Riida knows about us. He knows I don't mean anything. But she.... she-"
"She knows I have no designs on her whatsoever. I already told her on the first day I already have someone."
Nino peeked out from where he had buried his head underneath the crossed arms on his propped up knees to warily look at Jun, silence for a second before speaking up. "Really?"
He smirked, and pressed his index finger on his lower lips. "These, are all yours." Without warning, Jun was knocked to the ground as a body flew to his and a pair of lips pressed themselves posessively on his. Instinctively, his arms wrapped themselves around the smaller bodies waist as he returned the kiss, grinning as the other pulled away. "Jealous?" He asked again, only to get a disgruntled look as Nino buried his head in to the crook of his neck, hiding the blush that threathened to overflow his cheeks.
Promise.
"Jun-kun~"
Grunt.
Nino raised his brows, and then looked at Jun from the corner of his brows as the van rumbled to send both of them home. Shifting in his seat to move closer, he nudged Jun and leaned in closer to whisper. "Jun-kun~ Why the thundercloud face?"
"Tired." he mumbled, and Nino frowned when he felt Jun shift slightly away, before leaning to sleep. Away from him mind you. Jun's never leaned away from him to sleep before! It was either on his shoulder, or just the top of his head in general. What was up with him anyway? After his skit with Ohno on stage, Jun's been in a touchy mood ever since. Nino huffed, and crossed his arms over his chest. Arashic concert was totally not going to his expectations. Everytime he came back from an Ohmiya SK skit, Jun was always giving him the cold shoulder.
At least it was the last night.
By the time they got home, Nino was thoroughly annoyed at having to deal with what he deemed was Jun's 'Princess attitude'. Throwing his bag on the couch, the guy hurriedly went towards their room to corner Jun before the younger one got the chance to escape to the kitchen. Forcing Jun towards the corner in between the wardrobe and the wall, Nino eyed Jun with a levelled stare as he crossed his arms menacingly over his chest.
"Spill, hime."
"I'm just-"
"No you're not, stop lying. You've been like that after every single Ohmiya SK skit I do with Riida."
"Am not."
"Jealous?" Nino prodded, the cheeky, feisty grin curling his lips upwards as he stepped closer to Jun. The stubborn pout on the younger members lips told everything. He grinned again. "Aww, c'mon. Just admit it."
"I'm scared, okay!" Jun finally exploded in his face, shocking Nino so much he actually took a step back, his eyes widening as Jun took a deep breathe. "I'm scared."
"... Why?" he finally ventured, gently now that he was in unchartered waters.
"Scared. So scared that you'll find someone you'll love more, that you'll eventually realize I'm not enough. That you'll leave me."
Jun's voice had dropped down to barely a whisper by the last word, and every syllable only made the ache in Nino's heart grow. Where was his zealously confident Jun? The one that would plow through life with a determined power. The one that would never show that vulnerable face no matter what was the case. Why did he look so... lost now?
Unable to help himself, Nino reached forward and pulled Jun towards him, enclosing the other in his arms as he pressed a kiss to Jun's forehead. Nino grinned when he felt the younger one bury himself deeper in his chest, and stroked the curly locks their stylist had given him for their last performance.
"Baka hime. Why would I?"
"Well, apparently someone thinks you and Riida match very well. Why else would they form Ohmiya SK?"
"Well, thats their way of thinking. Thats hardly how I think now, is it?" Nino retorted with a scoff, running a hand down Jun's back soothingly. "I promise you, I want no one else but you, Matsumoto Jun."
"No one?"
"Who else can I love but you?"
