"You won't be able to use your for... a year or two, at least you won't be able to grip things properly."

"What? Does that mean I can't draw? For gods sake, Sho. I draw for a living. You're telling me I can't draw? How the heck am I supposed to make sure Obaa-chan, Ryo and Natsume get their meals?! I can't NOT draw. Its-"

"Shush!" Unable to bear the torrent of words that poured forth, her tone getting more and more broken as they went on. When he looked up, he could see the faint sheen of tears, the despair in her eyes, and he knew what she felt, for Tomomi carried the weight of her world on her shoulders alone, a weight too large for a girl to hold. Not alone, at least. "Shush, and listen to me." he repeated, cupping her face with his hands, he brushed the single tear that had escaped with his tongue, before speaking.

"It'll only take a few months recuperation."

"B-But-!"

"Its alright, Mi-chan. Daijoubu. I'll take care of you, okay?"

"What about Natsume and Ryo?"

"I'll take care of them too, because they're like my little brothers now. I'll make sure they get enough of their life necessities, and I'll make sure you'll be fine, because I want to take care of you for as long as you live." he murmured, leaning in to brush a soft kiss on her lips, he pressed her forehead against hers. "Don't bear the weight of the world on your own again. I'm here for you. You don't need to face everything alone."

"Sho..."

"I'll even draw what you need to draw."

"NO!" Jun, Nino and Aiba shouted simultaneously, earning them a glare from Sho, even as Tomomi giggled in amusement at the identical horrified looks on his bandmates faces. Sho on the other hand, was not amused, and signalled for them to get out of the room, before he turned back to the girl.

"I love you, Tomomi. And because I love you, I'll make sure you're never alone."

Leaning her head on his shoulder, Tomomi couldn't help but snuggle in closer to the crook of his neck, biting her lips, she couldnt ever feel more loved then she was at that time, for just at that second, she knew she would never be alone. "Arigatou, Sho-kun. Aishiteru."

"He's gone again?"

The four members of Arashi snickered at the image of their completely frazzled and panicking manager, before Ohno went to put him out of his misery.

"Calm down, manager-san. He already settled his News Zero recording by asking someone to fill in for him, and we arranged to film our PV tomorrow already. The rest of us are still here only because we have solo work to do."

"Why has he been MIA all week anyway?"

"Hey, Aiba, aren't we situated to film for Tensai now? Move it!" Jun suddenly started, ignoring the question as he practically hauled Aiba off his seat and filed out of the door, as Nino and Ohno both mumbled their own excuses and followed suit.

"Oi! Why did no one answer me?!"

"Because its none of your business, manager-san. Now if you would excuse me, I need my files from the drawer." Kiyomi suddenly appeared with a smirk, and pushed her way in to the green room.

Back at the apartment, Sho placed the small suitcase in the bedroom, before quickly pacing out again to where Tomomi was seated on the couch, her eyes staring at the sketch pad on her lap... with a pencil in her hands.

"Oi! Let go of that!" Sho exclaimed, as he literally vaulted over the table to yank it out of her hand. Tomomi let out an irritated growl, and glared at him. "I can try, can I not?"

"No you can't. Doctor's words. After that, then you can start having therapy for your hands again. Under doctor's supervision." he stressed seriously, taking the sketchpad for her, before laying it on his own lap. Leaning closer to him, Tomomi lay her head on his shoulder and watched with amusement as Sho lay the nib of the pencil on the white pad. "Tired?" he asked, as he bit his lip.

She nodded, and he chuckled, and turned over to press a kiss on her forehead. "Go to sleep. I'll wake you up when its time for dinner."

That was all the encouragement she needed, and it took her less then five minutes before she fell asleep, not even noticing what was Sho attempting to illustrate on the pad. The next thing she knew, the touch of smoke brush her nostrils, and she blinked her eyes open to discover herself lying on the couch, his jacket covering her torso.

Sitting up, Tomomi frowned when she once again noticed the smell of something burning. "Sho?" she asked out loud, standing up to walk towards the kitchen, only to have her jaw drop when she saw him running a charred frying pan under running cold water, sheepish look on his face as he rubbed the back of his neck in embarassment. "Just what were you trying to do?" Tomomi asked in an aghast tone, wary look on her face as she advanced to scrutinize the black mess of what appeared to be vegetables and eggs burnt on to the pan.

"Well, there goes my frying pan. You owe me one." she glared at him at the corner of her eye, and then surveyed the mess on the kitchen counter, before shaking her head ruefully. "Looks like we'll be eating out until I can use my hands again."

"No! I can-"

"Don't, even try. I'd rather have Aiba cook then let you step in here again." she warned, ignoring the hurt puppy-dog look Sho gave her as she strolled back to the living room. Picking up the sketch pad she had passed to him earlier, her jaw dropped again.

"Sakurai Sho! What in God's name is this?"

"Erm." he bit his lip, having creeped up behind her from the kitchen. "Well, it was supposed to be butterflies but...."

"You can't even manage a pair of butterflies? They look like buttered toast!" she retorted with a grin, before laughing out loud. And at that second, Sho couldn't decide if he wanted to be indignified at how she was laughing over his art work, or be delighted at how she was actually laughing. Her laughter was like a salve to his heart, honest.

In the end he gave in to the delight and grinned as he plucked the sketchpad out from her hands, and dropped it on the couch, before leaning in to press a kiss on her to silence her. "Hey, the least I can do is try."

"First, try to cook. I'm gonna need food sometimes."

"If anything, I'm stubborn enough to try." Sho replied with a grinned, wrapping his arms around her waist to give her another kiss. Why shouldn't he try? Besides, with Tomomi around, Sho would try anything.
