Progress!

It's day two of my week of Christmas crafts. I've got all the supplies I need, more or less. A few of them are started, even. But I'm feeling a bit under the weather and the one project I want to work on most requires me to borrow Brent's computer/printer setup. She doesn't much like me, and will only give me half of what I need to get started ( Read more... )

Thanks for the hope. <3 My guy actually found a cheap last minute plane ticket (he says it's part of my Christmas present, how sweet is he?) and I'm flying out this sat. to help out and be a pest around my folk's house. This whole unemployment thing could not have come at a better time for my schedule, I don't have to screw my co-workers over to get out of here or anything, I can just go.

Your sneak calls sound like good fun (except for the whole horrible news part). I hope you win vs. the printer and I hope your dad wins vs. the mystery clots.

Yeah, my brother is a wonderful guy. About five hours later, literally, the printer spat out a tiny scaled-down version of what I needed, WHILE BRENT WAS SITTING RIGHT NEXT TO IT.

It almost ruined the surprise, the little jerk.

Aww thanks. I'm sure things will turn out okay. When I take a step back, it's actually really interesting. He's not in critical condition, but whatever his body is doing is so weird there is actually a television-style team of six doctors interested in his case. And the lead doc actually went to doctor school with my uncle, I guess.
