Me in my monochrome world
Ahh.. the weekend at last! n_n My first week at work was surprisingly pleasant thanks to kind, friendly colleagues. So far the work itself has been nothing too spectacular, but I suppose I should be grateful they're not pushing me too hard too soon. The greatest challenge was rather mundane & non-law related: struggling to get all my documents properly aligned in MicrosoftWord. Quite humbling really. -_-
And after building on my work wardrobe for the past few months, I realise I've got it completely wrong! >_<; My mentor is really particular about dressing & he's asked me to wear black & white every day. Which means all my cream/beige/grey/etc suits & workwear will be gathering dust for the next year or so. And I have some serious white blouse/ black suit stocking up to do. I also have to be more careful about my blacks... turned out one of my "black" jackets is actually a shade too light. Drats... it sucks to be spending dough on boring monochrome workwear when the shops right now are full of lovely summery casuals!
