Cheezy Kale Chips

One of the gifts I received for the holiday was a dehydrator. Yes! I've been wanting one for awhile. Before I got one, I would search & save recipes that I wanted to try. One of the first things I wanted to try making were kale chips.  If you do a search there are many variations of the recipe [some baked if you want to try but don't have a dehydrator].  The one that I based mine off of was from Raw Judita's blog.  They turned out so good.  The nutritional yeast gives them a cheesy flavor [without any dairy] & the soy sauce adds the perfect amount of saltiness.  The texture was really unexpected.  They're crisp, but sort of melt in your mouth at the same time.  It's hard to explain.  But they are delicious!  And surprisingly enough Rick & the kids liked them too.  Bonus!
