Did you hear about a new radio station? Thank Goddess, it's about time we had some other choices - I don't know about you but I don't get Indie where I live. Ah, but I remember when 100.3 was Pirate Radio, one of the few hard rock stations in the area. Back when metal was king. They even had an original weekly "Looney Tune," a parody of a popular hit at the time, that they would write nad perform themselves.

Sometimes I miss those days.

Yeah, I remember liking Pirate Radio. They played a lot of Guns N Roses which was mainly what I was into at the time.

Thanks for the heads-up on this! On the drive home from work yesterday, it was like someone smuggled my iPod into a radio station. R.E.M., Crowded House (my two fave bands), Warren Zevon, Sheryl Crow, Squeeze, The Cars...too cool.

I am loving this station more everyday! I heard a Kinks song that I love so much and they never play on the radio anymore (not since I was a teen).

D'oh! Todd and I bought tix last week, and it's assigned seating. Still, it's worth going even if she ends up flying solo. They always put on a great show!
