(no subject)
So less than an hour ago, I was sitting in a taxi on my way home from the supermarket. The taxi driver was complaining about how busy town is today: it's the day before Easter Friday, everyone is shopping like they could die of starvation during the 24 hours that the shops will be shut, people are driving like maniacs, etc. Then we get to this:
"Jesus Christ, who invented Easter?!"
My response... "Um, *He* did." :P
(Yeah, I know that Easter was originally a pagan festival and the Christians stole it because they didn't want the pagans to have anything nice, but really? I couldn't resist.)
