(no subject)
My throat is all swollen up. I've just recently started to notice that when I touch it, it (or the glands or whatever) are all swollen, and it's like a big lump under one side of my chin. It's quite painful to touch. And it must have been like this for a week, now, because I've been feeling this pain for nigh on a week. Shocking! And my observational abilities always were so good. (I swear...) It's exactly like the sore throat I got right before leaving St. Andrews, that lasted up until I got to Carleton. Only that time I had side effects, like coughing and congestion, to go along. I think I had better drop by the Wellness Center tomorrow and see about making an appointment.
Currently writing a reaction paper for 298. It's actually not so bad, after the initial difficulty figuring out how I wanted to order my thoughts, it all seems to be coming out more smoothly. A few more sentences on universal history, a conclusion, a revision, and I'm set. Might do some more reading tonight. Might go to bed. Depends. I should go to bed as soon as possible, but whether or not I'll be able to sleep is up for question. Work at 8 tomorrow, blegh. Ruoyang spends a lot of time on the phone. I guess since she talks to her boyfriend every day. But it can't be him each time. There must be other people too. I dunno.
Tomorrow shall be pleasant, anyway. I think. After the whole three hours at work and class thing, for which I shall have to get up at 7 (bleghblegh), I'll have the afternoon free. I was going to make a trip to the post office and to Target/Cub, the latter being the most important. But too, I have to worry about this darned lecture at 4:30 that's mandatory. It's not fair, because this is the only free afternoon I have in each week, and it's going to be very difficult to fit my Targeting in. Possibly I might go after, but no, I don't think I can, because the Target runs are early in the evening, and I'd have to wait until after the lecture was through to go. Dur. Hopefully I'll get enough work done to be able to call Ashley up and then watch some Stargate: Atlantis! I doubt I'll finish all my reading, but as far as I see it, the Cohen isn't all that important, and that just means reading one other book. The fact that I have to read the entire thing, well. That's normal, and it's thinner and smaller in size (so less writing on each page? I hope?) than Cohen, so should be dandy. Also. I think I won't have any homework this Thursday. At all. Wow.
