First, politics: The assassination attempt on Donald Trump was damn scary and of course it had to take place in PA-DAMN!! If you don't like a politician, you vote them out of office, not try and kill them and I truly believe that the majority of Americans feel the same way-no matter which side of the aisle you're on. And second? Time for some TV/movie randomness:
I was very disappointed in A Quiet Place Day 1. The movie felt pointless--I was hoping we'd get more insight on the invasion or at least where the creatures came from but instead it was just endless scenes of chaos. A total waste of time.
I am looking forward to Twister-it has a nice disaster movie feel to the previews-- and Trap looks like a damn interesting take on serial killers, and in the fall there will be Smile 2-I hope it's as unsettling as the first one.
I'm in the middle of watching The Acolyte on Disney+ and I know I've said this before but I do like seeing the different versions of the Jedi and their personal belief systems. The light saber fight scenes are also well done which is always a plus :):)
And lastly, the Olympics will be starting a week from now-I have no doubt the gymnastics and swimming events will be epic and I'm kind of looking forward to all of the backstory about Paris.
