Time for some Random Randomness--WOO HOO!!

Today is going to be 60 degrees Fahrenheit which is insanely warm for February in the Northeast, but tonight the temperature is going to drop about thirty degrees and we’ll getting accumulating snow tomorrow-maybe 3 to 6 inches.  How bizarre is that?

I love that on Elementary, the show had Sherlock shaving his head to satisfy his debt to the hacker group We are One.  It’s a clever way to explain Jonny Lee Miller’s having to change his appearance so he could play Sick Boy again in Trainspotting 2.  Brilliant.

It was also rather fun seeing JLM laughing and smiling on the Graham Norton show--he was hanging out with Danny Boyle, Ewan McGregor, Robert Carlyle and Ewen Bremner and you could tell they were all good friends, especially JLM and EM because they were busting on each other like only close friends can.

I saw a play called Sherlock Holmes which was written by Conan Doyle and William Gilette and it was rather good.  Holmes and Watson defeated Professor Moriarty and Holmes falls madly in love with the heroine who was Irene Adler-esque.  Side note:  the character that ACD created in the Scandal in Bohemia and not the con woman in the RDJ movies or the sex worker in Moffat’s.  Very important to note that.

I decided that although I massively dislike the US ice dance team of Chock and Bates--Evan Bates and his partnership with Madison Chock was formed in an extremely shady way--I am no longer going to actively hate them and hope they fail.  I can respect their athletic ability but Evan Bates is a definition of a bad sport and that is a type of person I can never root for.  Chock and Bates received their scores after their free dance at Nationals, and they were placed second--Madison Chock had the grace to at least smile but Evan could barely contain his anger.  Very professional-are you taking lessons from Scott Moir?

weather issues, i believe in all sherlock holmes, ice dancing bitches, the plays the thing, all the news fit to print
