Covering the hellish job again and some Post-Olympic musings
That's right cats and kittens, I'm covering for my coworker with the horrible and crappy job. But as I keep telling myself, it’s only for five days and now it's one day down, four more to go.
1. Some of the musical acts made me grin: how much did I love seeing the Pet Shop Boys again? But why the heck wasn't The Cure invited or Duran Duran? Bastards!
2. Eric Idle cracks me up but I would have loved to see some other Monty Pythoners as well.
3. I think the London games were a complete success and I am beyond thrilled that there wasn't any type of terrorist or criminal threats to scare people and ruin things.
4. I keep wondering about Bob Costas. I wonder what he's thinking, if he's thinking of me and if I'll ever see him on my screen again. I hope someone recognizes where these lines come from!
5. I'm now watching Shark Week and while it's awesome, it pales in comparison to the balance beam :)
