Firstly - be strong, be proud and be a great community.
Thursday night Aveline basically had a massive stroke. I can't do the medical terminology, it was very severe. After operating she remained in a comatose state. She received the best possible care and I believe she felt no pain.
This morning at around 10.30ish she passed away peacefully.
I'm still in a state of shock. Spread the word, let everyone know, she was the sort of person who knew everyone and there is no other way we can contact them all.
I will post more details as we get around to making them and let people know how we are going to celebrate her life.
I am however going to turn my phone off for a little while now.
If anyone is so inclined, donations to the ICU at St Vincents would be appreciated.
