Best birthday ever.
The day was kind of annoying, since I lost the key to the bio seminar food cabinet, but I wound up skipping the seminar with Hanghang and eating forum lunch with her. Then lab was fun, wandering around on some back road.
Then I came back here, had cake with the floor, and got ready for my party, including wearing the shirt of +5 hottness. I bought some Leiney's at McNally's as well as stuff for dinner with Jacqui, and then we cooked spaghetti and sauce (me) and sauteed veggies (her). Dinner included Jacob, who stole Molly's hunk of cheese, Molly, Jacqui, Avram, me, and Liz, who was sick with bronchitis. We had a good time, at cake, and then Molly, Jacqui, Avram, and I sat around and talked until everyone else got back from AHH. Then it was present time, and then we all went to the pub.
I drank 3 beers at the house, and at the pub I had: 1 buttery nipple shot, 1 glass of Blue Moon w/ half an orange, 1 liquid cocaine shot, part of a manhattan (which I didn't like and gave to Avram), 1 tequila sunrise (which I liked a lot and was suggested by Molly), and 2 glasses of ... I guess it was Miller than Avram got at the end of the night and was split between him, me, and Molly. The three of us were the ones who stuck around after the rest took off. They didn't really drink that much either. Well, neither did Molly because of her antibiotics. And Liz didn't come because she was sick.
But it was a great party. I just felt so happy and so loved and so comfortable with these great friends and with Avram. Plus Molly, Jacqui, and Elisabeth threw popcorn so that it stuck in my shirt. Well, Molly just stuck it down there. And I had a crown. And I didn't throw up.
So, all in all, I think this was my best birthday yet.
