Don't worry, even though I am a steadfast Christian, I completely understand what you are saying. Some Christians just take it too far. Christmas is always a touchy subject for many people, Christians or no. I do like your policy of saying "Merry Christmas" only on Christmas Eve and Day. Very PC :3
Thanks. I need to not read sites like that when I'm tired. The comment that got me was someone saying that EVERYONE needs to celebrate Christ's birth. That really set me off. That and a few others, and then *poof* RANT.
I have no problem wishing people Merry Christmas on Christmas and Christmas Eve, but not on Thanksgiving. :|
I know what you mean. I can only read fandomsecrets if I'm in a certain mood, otherwise I get all angry or depressed sometimes, with how crazy and self-destructive people can be!! ... I think it's the same, or at least kinda similar XD!!
But yeah, some Christians need to get their heads out of their asses, I completely agree there XD And it also irritates me how some stores completely milk the holidays for as much as they can, starting to sell stuff before even Thanksgiving. It kind of dilutes the other holidays, which are just as important, which isn't cool at all.
And yep, not cool at all. The crazy Christians also happen to be the loudest, which is why this kind of happens. Which resulted in the commercialization of Christmas, which I think is sad. Like with this year, because of all the hospital stuff, no one is getting presents and my mom gets upset when Christmas is mentioned on TV. Even though I keep telling her that Christmas isn't about presents, it's about being with the people you love. :\
