so its been quite a while since my last LJ update...here goes another one.
-I LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE my job. Its awesome. Words cannot express how great it really is. I have fun...at WORK. Its crazy and its true and omg <3
-So obviously I got the transfer I applied for in January when I moved (for good) down here to Sunny Fla.
-YAAAAAAAY SECURITY! Full-time now as a Disney Security Hostess.
-I chose the graveyard shift at Magic Kingdom so I've gotten to see the big decorating and redecorating for Halloween and Xmas, I've gotten to watch all of the stage shows and parades since they practice them on graveyard shift when the park is empty of guests...and I get to see fireworks from the security office rooftop on mainstreet which is freaking amazing. Especially on MNSSHP and MVMCP when they do perimeter fireworks as part of the special holliday fireworks shows...four extra sets of fireworks going off to either side of the park...that rooftop is lit up bright as day at the end, its beautiful. And even when exciting stuff like that isnt going on its just plain cool to see the rides and park at night and empty...or at least populated only by construction crews working to expand Fantasyland and your general maintenance crews fixing/testing/running rides to make sure they are ready for the next day.
-Now pretty much self-sufficient/reliant and seperated from the parents which is new and exciting...and scary as hell. And also I miss my family...NC is just so terribly far away.
-Lex passed away before I could bring him down here with me and I still can't really talk about it. He was amazing and super sweet and so smart and I loved him.
-Still trying to get settled and get my bearings down here, hoping to move again in January to some apartments that are literally right behind MK and are super nice but we'll see. Also meeting tons of people since I'm still a Fill at Magic Kingdom and have been tossed around most of the resort regions as well so its really neat to see different areas and meet all these new people. Its still sort of surreal for me...Im on my own, this is my life right now...and its wonderful.
