I swear if I hear one more person on tv or elsewhere talk about 9/11 when talking about the war in Iraq, I will explode. Are people that stupid? Were any of the 9/11 terrorists Iraqis??? No. Is there any proven connection between 9/11 and Iraq? No. The only common denominator between the two is religion. The perpetrators of 9/11 were Islamic and so is the majority of Iraq. It is idiotic to connect one event to another solely based on the fact that we had conflict with Iraq before and that most of the country is Islamic. Am I the only one who sees how ridiculous this is? I will only change my mind if I see physical proof that the two were connected. So please people stop saying that the reason we are in Iraq is that they somehow were a part of what happened four years ago. It is unfounded, thoughtless statements like this that make me worry about the intelligence of the United States.
