banal...but so annoying
Where are the missing socks? It is a question almost as old as time...but yet, why is it that I can NEVER do laundry without getting a perfect match on my socks. Somehow, someway, there are ALWAYS missing ones. GOSH that is annoying!
After tonight, we seem to have the amount of laundry that needs to be done at a manageable level...for the first time in AGES. Of course, that took us doing a double team on the laundry separating duties, and then me taking 2 bags of stuff to the dry cleaners (120 bucks later) and one basket of stuff to mom's house since she has the special "hand wash" feature on her machine for my sweaters. I think we are now down to about 3-4 loads that need to be done. On the agenda for tomorrow: one load of whites and one load of darks. Oh the thrills! I do like when I get to pick shit up from the dry cleaners because it is like getting a new wardrobe at a fraction of the cost. However, dry cleaning bills do in fact suq.
I graded some papers tonight. Not enough, but at least I did just enough to get by for tomorrow. heh.
Should I got to jazzfest?
Reasons to go:
1. Never been to NOLA
2. Krys/Mattie's wedding
3. UM latenight show
4. Trey Sunday show
5. right before my bday...IOW, bday present to self
Reasons not to go:
1. Requires taking a sick day
2. Requires lots of money
Clearly, the reasons TO go outweigh the reasons not to go. Right?
