so, I am super talented- I can feed a child and type at the same time!
Well, almost, please forgive any typos, dropped letters or lack of punctuation, and be thankful you are not trying to read this in real time...
So i weighed Ellie today- she is now 9 lbs! Tomorrow she will be 4 weeks old. 4 WEEKS! Holy cow I can't believe that she is that old already! It is funny, her gaining just over 2 lbs in a month doesn't sound like very much, but when you see her, and hold her, it seems like a lot. Not to mention the fact that I can't tell you how grateful that I am that she is just now reaching 9 lbs. I couldn't imagine having a 9 lb baby.
We are still working on the sleeping through the night thing, but she can see her mobile on her swing now, and sucks her thumb, and will bring her hand to her mouth.
In commemoration of reaching four weeks, here is my favorite picture from this week- Ellie is awake and alert and checking out her hand.
