Heating this house is crazy expensive, especially as the roommates aren't taking advantage of our cheapest heat source--huge piles of wood outside the house--for unknown reasons. Laziness? Don't want to bring it in? I keep telling them there will be a day of reckoning, like when the propane tank is empty and they find out I'm not kidding when I say propane is now over $5/gallon. Already we're each shelling out $80/month for electricity (probably mostly going to the little heater that keeps our pipes from freezing)--and there are five of us!
